AGENCY ACCOUNTANT

The organization is looking for someone to fill the role of Agency Accountant. This person will provide insurance products and services to clients. They will also work to improve the agency's operations and overall service quality.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of the flow of premiums between agency and insurance carrier, intermediary, and premium finance partners, as well as customers in multiple languages.

• Ensure outstanding receivables are paid and billing transactions are collected and documented.

• Work with the team to resolve billing and financing matters, analyze financial information, and prepare financial reports.

• Maintain financial records of the company and clients, and work on other accounting projects.

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service in responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

• Additional duties include tax preparation, credit and liability identification for individuals and companies.

• Represent the company in the Asian community.

• Bookkeeping and data documentation.

• Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures privacy policy.

• Grow the business by promoting our services and expanding our client base

Job Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Excellent insurance, agency, and accounting knowledge.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Foreign language proficiency: Mandarin, Cantonese

• Impeccable mathematics skills.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and tax programs.

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
